Zoom H4 Handy Recorder
In my thoughts ‘how to record any playing in my rehearsal situations’ I had to decide between great, tech solutions and the practical way. When I bought one of the first recording utilities, the industry was at the beginning of such things. A short time late they developed better tools and I recognized, I was a bit to early. On the 18th of April, 2009, Hans Jakobsmeyer came to a common musicians party and brought a H4 Handy Recorder (Zoom). A I begged him to make a short reference audio with me, umcompressed in format *.wav. And, folks, what to say about this: I think, this sounds really better, like -for example- my little jazzy drum solo. A clear sound, transparency, nothing to say against this new niece piece of recording. Hear it.
I played my sonor jungle-set, added with some remo rototoms. And thanx to Hans, doctor of recordism, for this nice reference file.
