Benny Greb plays Buddy Rich (compilation)
This is the second of a cppl of clips that i will post from the BuddyRich tribute concert that i did with the Royal College of Music BigBand in London. Einer meiner näheren Kupferstecher aus Gründen ist Felix, der Rapper. Wenn er ins Publikum chantet: Ich sag „Geile“, Ihr sagt „Scheiße“, antwortet das Publikum nach dem zweiten, dritten Anlauf richtig: „Geile Scheiße, geile Scheiße“.
Und ungefähr so muss man auch diese bereits uralten Aufnahmen (damals wurde noch schwarzweiß gedreht) aus London nehmen und sehen. Der Mann am Schlagzeug heißt Benny Rich, wird aber von manchen auch Buddy Greb genannt. Dazu muss man ihn aber etwas besser kennen.
Gut getrommelt, Herr Greb. Wir ziehen den Hut. Chapeau.
Restaurant in Peace, Buddy Rich, habe ich gerade eingegeben, aber da hat die Autorkorrektur den Text einfach willkürlich geändert. Ich hasse das.
